Description

Queen's Park in Loughborough is a beautiful place where you can while away the hours.

Not only has it consistently achieved a Green Flag award, a mark of excellence awarded to parks and green spaces, it is also home to the Carillon Tower, the town's war memorial which houses 47 Taylor bells at the top. The Carillon is played regularly for park users to enjoy.

The park is also home to Charnwood Museum and Queen's Park cafe.

Queen's Park was first opened in June 1899 to celebrate Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee. It offers people a wide range of things to do and is a very popular park with local residents and visitors to the town.
