You can request to add content to the Discover Charnwood website

The Discover Charnwood website was created by Charnwood Borough Council to support the local tourism economy by promoting everything that is great about the area. And there's quite a lot.

You can use the forms below to request to add an event or visitor-related business to this site.

First, you will need to register and create an account which doesn't take long.

Then, once confirmed, you can then use this form to request an event or visitor-related business be added to the site.

The types of business we will consider for the website need to be related to tourism or the visitor economy. They include pubs, cafes, restaurants, shops, leisure facilities such as golf clubs and entertainment or activity centres.

How do I logout?

Your login will time out, or click on the logout icon next to the 'Add Content', or please go to discovercharnwood.co.uk/logout

How do I update a 'Things to Do' listing that I have added?

To update any 'Things to Do' you have listed, please ensure that you have logged in using the same email account that you added the content with.

Navigate to the relevant Things to Do page and click on 'edit' to make your changes, then 'save'.

How do I update an event that I've already posted?

It is not possible for you to update an event once it's been approved and posted live. Please contact discovercharnwood@charnwood.gov.uk for any required edits.

I want to update a 'Things to Do' listing that I didn't add originally. How can I do this?

Will I get a confirmation email when I register?

No. Once you have registered, you will be logged in and can start adding a business or event. If there are any issues, please email discovercharnwood@charnwood.gov.uk
